RETTmobil: On Course For Success

RETTmobil, the international exhibition for rescue and mobility, will continue her success story in 2016. The 16th edition of the global exhibition will open on May 11, 2016. The preparations currently under way underscore the very positive development of this industry event. The variety will be even more attractive, comprehensive and sustainable. An increased presence of the firefighting industry will add further value to the fair.

The central location of Fulda in the center of Germany with 70,000 square meters of exhibition space, 20 exhibition halls and a large open-air site at Messe Galerie Fulda again provides excellent conditions for RETTmobil. Very pleased are the Community of Interests of the Manufacturers of Ambulances and Emergency Vehicles (IKR) as conceptual sponsor and Messe Fulda GmbH, which is responsible for planning and implementing the global event for the rescue industry.

The extraordinary development of RETTmobil, to which, according to IKR Chairman Manfred Hommel, there is no comparison, confirms the concept. From the outset the excellent reputation is based on three pillars: Trade Show, Education and Mobility. No wonder that visitors, exhibitors and all those responsible have been highly satisfied over the years, and will be at the 16th RETTmobil.

RETTmobil presents products, innovations and services: products of renowned manufacturers of ambulances and emergency vehicles, as well as renowned exhibitors from the fields of automotive equipment, emergency medicine, clothing, radio technology, publishing companies, trade associations, relief organizations, fire departments, armed forces and other cross-industry products. This makes the RETTmobil an indispensable platform for all professional and volunteer men and women in rescue organizations and fire departments.

Important contributions to the extensive range of information offered at RETTmobil are the scientific congress and the education program with renowned speakers. Many “From Practice for Practice” medical rescue services trainings and workshops, organized by science director Prof. Dr. Peter Sefrin, will be presented again in 2016. The active participation of the association of professional fire departments in Germany (AGBF Bund) and the association of fire fighters in emergency medical rescue (AG Fredi) are reflected at the exhibition forum.

Mobility can be experienced by visitors in trainings and driving safety exercises at the exhibition’s offroad terrain. Here current vehicle and rescue technology is impressively presented up close. Also, the mobility sector will be intensified and expanded in 2016.

RETTmobil is the world’s premier forum for innovation, safety, quality, expertise and training. This development had been pointed out at the opening of this year’s anniversary exhibition by honorary patron Albrecht Broemme. The President of the Agency for Technical Relief stated: “RETTmobil can best be summed up in five-year increments. In the first five years it has been ridiculed, in the following five years it has been observed, then envied, and now I would like to see it being admired in the next five years.”
IKR-Chairman Manfred Hommel added: “The development is impressive and confirms that we were and still are on the right track with the event concept.”

Despite the strong demand for exhibition space at the 16th RETTmobil, prospective exhibitors still have the chance to rent customized areas. Petra Dehler Udolph and Dieter Udolph, CEOs of Messe Fulda GmbH, affirm: “We will support our customer’s interest and the decision to participate with individual proposals and information.” The organizer can be reached by telephone (+49-661-601003), Fax (-601005) and email: info@messefulda.de .
