“This is not a Taxi service”: Victoria’s Ambulance Service respond to triple-zero calls

The way Ambulance Victoria paramedics respond to triple-zero calls is being overhauled to stop them wasting time on patients with minor ailments, reports 7 News.

Ambulances will no longer provide a “taxi service” for people who call triple zero for non-emergency health issues. The new balance will improve the response time for life or death call, and will reduce waste time for some call, that are now borderline ridiculous. Look the 7NEWS reportage video
