“Am I going to die?”; an EMT answer
An emergency medical technician describes what happens when a gravely hurt patient asks him: “Am I going to die?”; is it better to say the truth or to lie?
When you know that nothing more can be done, when the patient look at you terrified in a mix of consciousness and hope, how would you react? What do you think is better to do when your patient is near to the death?
