The main activity that I carry out involves emergency medical care, and sometimes I also work in the field of Civil Protection, generally in plain urban environments.
I always look for a boot that must not be necessarily the top of the range in terms of technical performance, but that must guarantee maximum comfort with an affordable price and, of course, the right security.
The Pezzol CRI 2012 model (now available renewed, named LOTHAR) is covered of water repellent suede, customized in red with reflective parts on the sides and on the back. The steel toe cap offers good protection of the fingers and the distal portion of foot fingers, while the sole with different densities offers a discreet comfort, after all. All of this for a good price.
My impressions with PEZZOL on
Personally, I do not like boots for emergency activities when is necessarily not required. As a matter of comfort and cost, I found the safety shoes Pezzol CRI a solution more suitable to my needs.
In the cold, they perform quite well and in particularly harsh weather, with a warm pair of socks, feet will be absolutely fine. The shoes are not absolutely perfect for the hot temperatures of summer, because of the lack of heat dispersion.
Good impermeability, as long as shoes face splashes and puddles. Suede leather makes cleaning a bit difficult, especially when the dirt is made up of dust – nothing exaggerated, though -, provided that the indications of conservation, washing and cleaning gave by the manufacturer are followed.
In conclusion, it is a good product, affordable especially for those who buy not only for themselves but maybe to equip their operators: Pezzol CRI guarantees a good basic performance, which can be adapted to your needs by individual operators, perhaps using a good insole or technical stockings, depending on the case.

- RESISTANCE – The coating has good resistance and the same can be said of the sole. The footwear is CE EN 20345 S3 SRC certified. 3,5/5
- DESIGN – Aesthetically nice, nothing exceptional or comparable to technical boots if you are lovers of the genre, but nothing to envy of others in terms of design if you are looking for only a discreet product to work with. 4/5
