Start of the CAA Congress: main topics ambulance and emergency

Today begins the CAA Congress 2022, the Australian Congress addressed to the Ambulance Authorities 

Dedicated to the pre-hospital ambulance and emergency services sector, the congress will last three days.

Until August 13, the event will be hosted this year by the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

The CAA Congress is a three-day event designed to take you on a journey from start to finish.

Starting today, meetings, discussions and masterclasses will animate the Congress for the next three days.

The Conference will open with the choice of two interesting Forums supported by important speakers.

Following the success of the Women in Leadership Forum 2019, the CAA Congress is once again presenting the Forum on Women’s Leadership.

A program to help empower existing employees and promote new, thriving careers for emerging women across the pre-hospital industry.

The presentation will be dynamic and impactful, educational and full of insights.

Useful tips and advice will be offered not only during working hours, but in everyday life.

The participation in the Forum will offer a series of tools, stories and advice to thrive in any leadership role.

Education and interactivity will be the focus of the Forum.

The CAA Congress will be attended by Casey Beros.

He will present important speakers including Julie Piantadosi (Total Coaching Academy), Erin Cramlet (Stryker) and Judith Barker (St_John NT).

In addition, during the first day,  will also take place the Forum on the Global Alliance for Resuscitation.

The Global Resuscitation Alliance Forum will shed light on the latest developments in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, including experts from across Australia and internationally.

The meeting will end with a high-performance CPR (Train the Trainer) session.

In 2019 the seats for the GRA Masterclass were sold out.

The CAA Congress expects the same enthusiasm for this year’s Forum.

After the Forum on resuscitation, visitors can enjoy a recreational moment.

Partecipants can take part in the Meet and Mingle event sponsored by Motorola Solutions and enjoy the view of beautiful Darling Harbor.

The initiative will be accompanied by drinks and delicious canapés prepared for the occasion.

The second day of the CAA Congress will open with the presentation of the Expo plan. 

The presentation will be accompanied by an excellent breakfast.

Expo is an innovation and technology program where the best companies will show the work done during the last two years.

The Delegate Networking Breakfast will be a hive of fresh activity and is kindly supported by GoodSAM.

Join fellow delegates in the Parkside Ballroom located right next door to the Expo.

Casey Beros, official MC of the CAA Congress, as well as one of Australia’s most engaging health speakers, will present several speakers.

These include Samantha Crompvoet, Martin Flaherty (CEO AACE), Julie Piantadosi (Total Coaching Academy), John Bruning (Australasian College of Paramedicine) e Simone Cusack (AV).

During the second day of the CAA Congress, you can participate in sessions of technology, patient safety, stroke or mental health and well-being.

On the evening of Friday the 12th, the CAA Congress will host the CAA Awards For Excellence, which has been alive for over 10 years.

During the event, the Congress will recognize the innovative work of ambulance services from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

A delightful walk in the middle of the water will take visitors to Dockside for a three-course dinner.

The fine wine and a beautiful view of Darling Harbour will accompany the dinner.

The CAA Congress will share with its visitors the announcement of the winner of the first CAA Women in Leadership Scholarship.

In the third day of the CAA Congress, visitors can continue to explore the different sessions of CAA Expo 2022. 

You can learn about telemedicine, patient safety, aero-medical and emergency management.

Once again, Casey Beros will present the program of speakers.

The sessions will see the participation of Jordan Nyugen, Damien Eastern (Titan) and Mardi Steer (RFDS).

And again of David Waters (CAA CEO), AI & Advanced Technology Panel and the renowned medical expert, Dr Norman Swan.

The CAA Congress will end with ICU Later, the pun that will be close the event.  

Visitors can use this moment to strengthen established relationships and reflect on the days and sessions of the Conference.
