St. John Ambulance’s “The Difference” campaign video to promote first-aid training


The awareness-building campaigns promoted by St. John Ambulance, the main British charity for years dedicated to the promotion of first-aid training, which has now spread its membership to many countries worldwide, are always very moving. St. John Ambulance will never tire of repeating that everyone, from young children, some of whom are shown in the video practising with scissors and bandages, right up to a ripe old age, should know the rudiments of first aid. Because simple actions really can save life, as the mother of a young victim says at the start of the video. Intense, moving and certainly useful, the video was made in 2010, but is extremely of its
time, inviting people to overcome indifference in order to learn to “make the difference”.
