Childrens of war: Kiev's children born in the air raid shelter of the hospital or the metro

Giving birth in the hospital air raid shelter: children in Kiev in these days of war

Sergey Baksheev, head of the women’s clinic, obstetrician-gynaecologist, shows and tells how the maternity hospital lives №3.

For the second day in a row, the maternity hospital №3 in Kiev lived in the basement of the air raid shelter, providing obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological care.

Dr Serhiy Baksheev recounted the life of the woman in labour on Facebook .

Kiev children, testimony from the hospital’s air raid shelter:

“I will write in Russian,” reads his FB page, “so that my infinitely beloved friends and readers from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia, Uzbekistan will understand me.

For the second day, our maternity unit is living in a basement bomb shelter, providing obstetrical, neonatal and gynaecological medical care!

You can hardly see me in these photos, because I am on the opposite side of the lens reporting on our medical staff working during the third world war.

The wars that Russia started by violating my country’s borders!

My family is 3.5 km from our maternity home in a house where the library and basement have become a bomb shelter or at least some kind of hope of escape from Russian ordnance, debris, blast wave!

I could not bring my family to the maternity hospital, because a pregnant woman needs this place or even her birth partner, with whom, in addition to our doctors, this child of war should appear.

Russian troops today are killing my people, attacking my city and wanting to destroy my country. The whole world knows this, but many of my Russian-speaking friends close their eyes and are just worried that the shells of their country will fly in front of me and some other ‘friends’ from Ukraine!

I want everyone to know that you can stop this war not only by liking, sharing or commenting.

Go out on the streets of your cities in Russia, to protest against the rallies, create your own movement against the war.

My armed friends are protecting our country today, and you can do it with protests!

Look at these pictures, and into the eyes of these sanitary people who are not afraid of the Russian war!

We protect our country, our people, our wives and children!

And even in such conditions Ukrainians come into the world, who thanks to the Russians will be called SONS OF WAR for the rest of their lives!”

Of course, we let you see the photos directly on the doctor’s FB page.

Air raid shelter in the Kiev metro: Ukrainian babies now born there too
