Mariupol hospital, doctors and patients held hostage by the Russian army

Russian occupiers have reportedly taken doctors and patients hostage at the Regional Intensive Care Hospital in Mariupol.

This was reported by the Donetsk regional military administration, which as a belligerent party is a clearly biased source.

According to the regional authorities of the Donetsk region, one of the hospital employees managed to convey the following information: ‘It is impossible to leave the hospital.

They are firing hard, we sit in the basement.

Cars have not been able to drive to the hospital for two days.

Skyscrapers are burning all around.

The Russians have brought 400 people from nearby houses to our hospital.

We cannot leave”.

The day before, the hospital in Mariupol was practically destroyed by the Rashists

Floor slabs fell into the main building as a result of the shelling.

But staff and patients continued to be in the adapted basement, to work and be treated.

The head of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko said of the situation in the Mariupol regional intensive care hospital: These are clear violations of the norms of war.

Russia and every citizen involved in crimes in Ukraine must be punished! ”
