Porto Emergenza, from Lombardy to Moldova to help the Ukrainian people

In its second mission, the association of the ANPAS network set itself the objective of donating a camp tent (with heating), sanitary material (disinfectants, gloves, masks, gauze, cohesive bandages, …), medicines, nappies, nappies, wipes, personal hygiene items, baby bottles and an ambulance.

The ambulance, set up before departure by the Florentine Orion, was driven by two volunteers, while the minibus, appropriately crammed with humanitarian aid, transported the other three Porto Emergenza members of this second mission.

It was a long drive to Transylvania, where the five volunteers stayed overnight.

The next day, the second part of this journey, with the entry into Moldova and the delivery of the material and the ambulance to Intersos.

Including the return journey, this was a 4,850 km long trip.

When solidarity is not only made up of talk, it smells of hard work and good things.
