The transport was carried out with a helicopter of the 118 emergency medical service of Sicily. However, sometimes faith chooses its own path. And when pregnancy comes, unexpected events are just around the corner. The unborn child has decided to hurry time. The woman, therefore, gave birth on board the helicopter during the MEDEVAC delivery. Doctors and critical care nurses assisted her on the flight and let her give birth to her child.

Words of thanks by the Councillor for Healthcare of Sicily, Ruggero Razza: “To us, the right to access healthcare is the main path. From which we do not retreat and we will not avoid to others”.
